This is the Pássaro Preto (Gnorimopsar chopi), very commom bird in Brazil. Other names here are: Melro and Graúna. They are all around the brazilian territory, except for the Amazon region. They are inteligent to learn some little tricks and they can recognize family members when in captivity, due to his sociability. He can grow up to 22cm. He sings wonderfully! I shoot this picture with a little 3x zoom.

Olá Zeca
Parabens pela foto do passaro preto, vc devia estar bem perto do "bicho" para poder capturar assim tão perto, mas a foto esta como sempre, irreprensivel :)
gostei bastante do fundo azul e dos galhos secos que combinam muito bem o passaro.

Hi Jose,
He looks good sitting in the tangle of branches that frame him so well. The beautiful blue sky backround also shows him well. The exposure was spot on here to capture this scene so well.

Pô Zeca, imagine do que você será capaz com um super zoom...linda foto, este bicho não é dos mais belos pássaros mas é sem dúvida dos mais espertos, por isso tê-los à vista é sempre muito legal! Belíssima foto como sempre. Well-done!
