I really like the pose of the wings frozen on the upward beat.
You nailed the details and the nice sheen on the colors.
I am not sure, but this one looks like the hummingbirds that I catch here: Anna's Hummingbird. I don't know if they live down your way too.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, color, lighting, background.

I like it: framing (I like the shal workshop), notes.

I don't like it: nothing.

Very nice capture in flight with exact freezing.

What a stunning image. You've captured such a beautiful moment and you captured it perfectly. Frozen in mid air. Great details and beautiful colors. The light really brings out the beauty in the bird. Personally I would crop the bottom of the photo, since it is really bright.

Hi Livio!
You have frozen the fluttering wings of a hummingbird into a single, sharp image with that shutter speed. The sky as BG was perhaps the best option under the circumstances, so this shot has turned out to be the finest ever so far as shooting a hummingbird in action is concerned. The is not even the slightest hint of noise anywhere within the frame.

Esta é sem dúvida uma das melhores fotos de beija-flor voando que já tive a oportunidade de ver, o congelamento do movimento das asas está fantástico, assim como o preenchimento de luz conseguido com o flash em altíssima velocidade de sincronismo.
