[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Portuguese]
In the vulgar language, lizard to the first state calls itself to larvar of the insects with complete metamorphoses, when terrestrial. They have the aspect of worms, for segmented times and with the rudimentos of the three pairs of characteristic legs of the adults. The following state calls pupa and generally it is formed inside of a cocoon. Generally, the lizards feed themselves voraciously and can reach sizes of 10 cm more than, even so the adult insect rare arrive at these dimensions. Some are fed of leves of plants and can constitute a plague in the cultures and gardens. Others are developed inside of fruits in maturation - the mother inside places eggs of the ovário of the flower and the larva feeds itself of pericarpo or same of the seed. Noutros cases, the eggs can be placed under the skin of an animal living creature and the lizards parasitam it. The lizards of the flies feed themselves of dead animals or dejectos - they are detritívoras. However, nor all the lizards are harmful - it wants the man, wants to ecosystems. The animal-da-silk, for example, is the larva that, when passing pupa, constructs its cocoon with silk. Many lizards are part of the feeding of some peoples.
