Spilotes pullatus
A powerful snake with highly variable markins. The body is flattened from slide to side, the head is narrow and the eyes large. Unusual in having an even number of dorsal sacale rows (also found in Chironius) and therefore without a vertebral row. Found in dry scrubby habitats, often near human settlements. Arboreal, feeding on anphibians, birds (including their eggs), mammals and other reptiles. No venomous, but very often aggressive. Oviparous.

Ola Brutemonte,
I like your snake here! Very unusual colours. A BLUE eye eh!
I think it is a capture with potential! I have tried to bring out some of the snake's charm! Tfs, Jay
