Hi Raimundo

This is a very colourful moth with rather interesting wing design and patterns. The colours appear very bright and well saturated, but somehow it looks like a dead moth to me. Pardon if I’m wrong.

Normally when a moth sit on a wall or whatever surface, it tend to be very flat with its wings opened and almost flush to the surface. Yet this photo looks very flat. I’m not really sure what caused it since you did not make use of a fill-in flash. Maybe it was tungsten or electrical light that caused the illusion. Please don’t interpret this as negative critique. I am merely saying how it appears to me.

Compositionally you perhaps could have moved the moth so that it was more at the bottom left-hand corner. This would have meant that there was some space in front of the moth to move or look into.

You have a very interesting portfolio and I promise I will be back again. I just need to take care of a number of other promises I made then I’ll be around again. See you later.

Friendly regards.

PS. Maybe you want to consider placing your "Portuguese" notes on the front page for the notes. That space is not reserved for English notes only and it would make your notes much more visible since it tend to get lost when one don't realise that you first have to click on the "Portuguese" tab to see your notes.
