This photo was took in the Botanical Garden of São Paulo as other photos posted here at the same time and day. They had something like 80 cm of diameter each, and can support easylly a bird.
I liked the position of the the leaves in the water and the green reflex on it.
I did a little crop in this photo to enter in TN.

Hola Tabajara:
Felicitaciones por este hermoso cuadro. El agua parece una pintura de Quinquela Martìn, un gran artista argentino.
Muy bien los colores, el foco y la iluminaciòn.

Hi Taba,
I like the POV and DOF alot here,
good composition and framing,
this reminds me of a lovely holiday where I saw these same lily leaves,
they look like dining plates on the surface of water :)
good work :)
Cheers :D

Hi Tabajara,
Beautiful shot of this giant lotus. With enough room, like in this picture it spread out nicely. Very well done.

Hi Tabajara,

good picure. The size of euryale amazonica (thanks to blakitan) is amazing! It's just a pity that you cut off the sides of the big leaves on the right and left handside!

Tfs,
Oki

hi tabajara,

well saturated colours,
tfs & regards

Hello Taba,

Nice picture (maybe a little bit over-sharpened IMHO) of these plants! I wonder if you cropped a little bit too much because I think that if you can have the first one and the left one entirely in the picture would be more interesting... You managed very well the exposition and I like the pov you took. Great natural colors too!

TFS,

Michel

Hi Tabajara.
I like your perfectly detailed and coloured picture of amazing plants and whole scenery so much. You have done this shot with great love and skillfulness: POV and DO are selected perfectly, reflections into the water are wonderful as well as the reflected objects. Saturation and richness of the colours are great too. Superb work and my best regards.
Alexei.

Hi Tabajara

Ok, I’m finally here. Sorry it took me a while, but rather late than never, as the always say.

I like this shot due to the interesting play of light caused by these massive bright green-and-red leaves and the dark green metallic sheen on the water surface. An interesting composition with these 5 leaves scattered throughout the frame (odd numbers are always better than even numbers in photographic subjects). The colours are eye-catching and the details are very sharp all the way right through the DOF. The late morning sun worked well for this shot ensuring that there were no unwanted shades on the leaves since the light shone almost from right above.

Very well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hello Tabajara,
Thank you for sharing with us these well captured floating plants. The colors and composition is excellent. You have shown me a new plant today, thank you.
Rick

Hi Taba

This plant has a special significance in the UK, where we call it the Victoria Regina waterlilly - although that name is not correct. It was named for Queen Victoria - like the Lake and Waterfalls in Africa. There is always a specimen in Kew Gardens in London, but they have to replace it every two years when it gets too big for the pond (which is inside a hot house).

I like the way the leaves stand out from the relection in the pool - good contrast of textures.

James

Hello Tabajara,
the leaves are really spectacular, but the water is a masterpiece: the color, the little waves, the reflection. Wonderful, ciao.
Violetta
