[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the closest nature can get to a leopard skin. But this leopard skin was not particularyl friendly as the snow was unpredictably stable. The next day we had to walk through the snow for hours and even more hours. Every opportunity to walk or rest on a "sand" island was gratefully used.
By the way, this was shot in Puyehue national park in Chile.

Welcome to TN. This is an amazing photograph with great texture. B&W works very well here despite the attraction of color in mountain photos. I would try cropping from below a little to get rid of the out-of-focus portion which does not fit the leopard's skin theme anyway.
