I have been looking for a good wide angle lens and this picture demonstrates the use of Nikon 17-70mm to my great advantage. Thanks.
Did you use a polarizer filter with it, BTW?
It is a beautiful landscape, though the white, as far as I can judge, has gone a wee bit over the limit, especially on the clouds and the reflection of sun on the water surface. However, that is an insignificant nit; the overall outlook is truly magnificent.
Looks like you had a great trip to South America.

You were right, this landcape is a little similar to Arctic ones (except the trees which on Spitsbergen are a few hundred time smaller ;>).
I like this composition a lot, but especially nice for me in the part showing clouds and the top of moutain.
On the other hand the first plan is a little to dark for me.

Finally back and with some time for writing something :)
A splendid capture from what seems to have been a lovely cruise!
I really like the tones of this image and also those interesting shapes of the clouds - they give the impression of a very wide view.
The composition is very eye-pleasing with that impressive peak on the left which is superbly covered by snow but only in the higher part, drawing attention to that segment.
Also great are the exposure and the presentation.
