[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The marine otter(=Lutra felina)or Chungungo is distributed along the Pacific coast from northern Peru along the Chilean coast to Cape Horn and Isla de Los Estados in Argentina. It inhabits marine areas exposed to heavy seas, strong wind, and a high diversity of rock fishes, molluscs, and crustaceans. Only rarely found in freshwater habitats.

Hello Ferran,
lovely photo, nice scene captured, great pose,
regards, Dejan

Hi Ferran,
You've captured a really sweet moment where the otter seems to be fully in piece with your presents. It is a pity that its head is just outside the focal point. A smaller aperture would have solved it. The rest of the photo is very good.
TFS,
Niek

hi feran

Nice capture - very relaxed otter, you've got there. Good detail though a little soft in the head area. Other than just - just sweet.
Cheers, Klaus

Hello Ferran,

Very funny picture. Beautiful composition with these algae. Good pose of the otter. Good sharpness and great colours.
Well done,
Cheers,
Mariki

Hi Ferran,
The photo of this otter - viewed 1421 times before me - deserved more than just 7 comments!

The pose of the animal, apparently drying from a recent swim, the head still wet - the layout of your work is just perfect, drawing attention to the "rubber-gloved" right front paw sticking into the air... and the little bit of pink tongue showing, makes it a photo of a happy Otter. By limiting the depth of field, you were able to create a Background, supporting the otter.

I notice, you were there in December, good choice! We were in August 1995 in Puerto Montt and crossed The Lakes to Bariloche. I snowed so heavily - that the snow-cat got stuck - and we ended up riding on a snow plough across the Andes!(I was frozen!)
I wish you a good week-end
Warm Regards
Ingrid
