Hi Radu. Another stunning shot that gives us a peek of nature at the end of the world. Your Patagonia series has been outstanding, and I have enjoyed your photo-essay of your trip. I have learned a lot and have taken the trip vicariously through your eyes and your lens. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful journey with us. : )

Yeah Rady - very surprising view! Bird recognised rather like African and glaciers. It must be another superb place to visit!

Another stunning shot Radu, who would want a blue sky when we can have these fantastic mountains as a background. You have handled the difficult exposure very well and I think the rhea is well placed. It cetainly gives you a feel for this majestic place.
Enjoying your Patagonia trip very much. I would like to suggest you create a theme and link all the images together in there.
I'm also enjoying the contrast with my desert series, especially this one in comparison to my emu scene. I don't think you get a better comparison of similar birds in vastly differnt landscapes, well done.

So we should call your series "Ireal Patagonia". Imi place ca e totul natural, fara nu stiu ce garduri de zoo, doar toate orataniile astea in cadrul lor montan, in care se simt acasa. Pe semne ca "strutul" asta te-a observat, caci pare sa o ia la goana in directia opusa!

I can't even begin to imagine the joy that you must have felt taking such a photo, in spite of the pitfalls that you mention, Radu!
I'd say a superb BG for this "lesser rhea".
Great work, thank you for sharing it with us.
Blue skies can sometimes be overrated, as in this fine example.

Excellent composition Radu, but the BG could have done with less exposure, so the colours seem a bit washed out. Difficult to adjust "just right" while chasing the bird, I'll admit! Can your camera be adjusted to underexpose by a factor xy? When shooting birds in front of the sky I found this very helpful.
Regards,
Gabi

This is probably the most unnatural from the whole Patagonian series.
Considering all difficulties this is superb shot. I would maybe said a little more, but I don't want you to explode ;)
I like it very much :)

This a great shot, being a mountain man myself. You did well to capture the ostrich against that bright light of the mountain.
