eagle in flight

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This bird does not appear in my bird book. However, the locals call it an “eagle”. They do not like it because they say it kills and eats their new born lambs. They say the eagle lifts up the lamb in the air and drops them to kill them before eating them or dismembering them to take back and feed to their young. The red stain on the left talons might just be blood from a recent kill. |

Excellent capture,

Hi Dean,
Nice shot. To find this one look up Geranoaetus melanoleucus australis - this is an adult. If I have time later I will try and figure out your Hummer from Uruguay.
