Well if I had the money, you have definitely sold a Nikon Film Scanner to me. If you had not said it was a scanned image..I would have never guessed it. As to the Guanacos....this is the first I have heard the name or seen an image that I can remember. You have such a vast collection world-wide...which may be the defining difference in our archives..yours and mine. Mine are pretty much confined to the US.
This type of Llama is a very beautiful animal. I can now see why some indigenous folks in SA countries are sos well sited to the colors which they weave, sew, knit and wear...and tells me why the cost is so high...VERY informative. For instance I see one company, unnamed here which says "Alpaca, Vicuna and Guanaco clothing which is some of the most stylish designer products in the fashion world. The elegant items make beautiful luxury gifts of scarves and shawls."....Great image and super information.

Hi James,
It is so wonderful to see an animal for the very first time. A very lovely shot of this cute animal - I thought it was a llama before I read your notes. The colors are beautiful, details are sharp, and the pose is charming.

hello James,
Interesting picture and note. Amazing to see that its head is so tiny compared to the size of the animal. Very natural picture.

Nice capture James. Are you planning on doing anything with all these world wide photos you have? You could put together some nice presentations for schools to show kids and tell them about the broader world. You might instill an appreciation for the natural world... which I fear is diminishing in younger generations. It is always more inspiring to have a live person relate stories than a TV program or photo book.

Hi James, I like this shot a lot. The vivid colours and the beautiful light add to the pose of the animal who looks as if he was going to school, it is so candid. The background is beautiful with herbs and colours also. Thanks,
Francine

Hello James,
What a beautiful animal very well captured! Beautiful light, lovely colours, nicely in focus and fine details. It's rather too centred for my liking but it is an old shot of yours!
Many thanks, Ulla
