This is an other of the Rhodolphiala species of Chile - like many others the distribution is very limited in a small area in central Chile. This is a species of lower altitudes at the foothills of the Andes where it grows normally on sandy soil.
This plant on the picture grows in a small population of plants in the dry organic soil in a temporary waterfall. |
