This insect probably belongs to the family Membracidae, common name Treehoppers, they appear like thorns on their host plant. This one looks like protecting the eggs.
The insect is very small, only like 1 cm long.
For this picture I used a Single +10 Close-up filter.

Este insecto probablemente pertenece a la familia Membracidae, muchos de ellos parecen espinas en la planta hospedera. Este parece estar protegiendo sus huevos. Es muy pequeño pues solo tiene aproximadamente 1 cm.

Place: La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia.

Where is the front and where is the rear?
Nice photo indeed with diagonal composition, good details and POV. I agree that exposure can be enhanced.
btw - Do you do any post capture noise reduction? I get quite some noise with my FZ30

This is definitely a Membracidae treehopper, to be more specific, it's a Polyglypta sp. (Smiliinae, Polyglyptini).

Curioso insecto, nunca había visto uno así. Bien la composición, el foco no es bueno del todo, la parte de arriba está un pelín borrosa; los colores están un poco apagados, tal vez le podrías dar un poco más de contraste y saturación. Intentaré un WS.
