this one is sooo pretty, I never saw this one before. The design is marvelous, my glasswing I had here did not have the beautiful "eyes" on the wings. Wonderful shot with good sharpness and colours, thanks

Siento una envidia sana cada vez que veo la variedad y la belleza de los insectos que teneis en Sudamerica, y este no es una excepcion.
Me encantan las transparencias que conseguistes, y el punto de vista. Creo que con un poco de postprocesado se podria mejorar la dureza de la luz de las partes blancas y forzar un poco mas el enfoque.
Una bonita foto, gracias por compartirla.

Es bastante satisfactorio ver de vez en cuando una the las mariposas de nuestro pais.
Es una pena que no hayan mas personas como tu de Colombia en este sitio para mostrar todas las cosas extraordinarias que existen alla en nuestra flora y fauna.
Esta mariposa esta extraordinaria tanto por los colores como por los detalles.

Another very good picture of a very unusual butterfly! In fact, transparency is the best mean of camouflage: you cannot do better in order to be not seen!!! You capture here a wondeful butterfly with an excellent pov and composition. Maybe the body of the butterfly is a little bit overexposed... But still a great picture. TFS,

Your shots give me heart! I was getting some doubt about the quality of the fz30 shot, but seeing yours, I have regained faith in the camera.
Do you use the built in flash or a flash gun? The results you get are impressive

A great captures of a very beautiful butterfly. Because of using flash the light is too much in some parts but still it's a great shot.
