This beautiful butterfly was on the soil in the parking lot of the company I work for, and let me take a lot of shots at different distances, whithout escaping. It looks to me a rare behavior, because all of them are always nervous and they are continuosly flapping wings, but this specimen was totally quiet like in a trance. What a pity to miss an opportunity to take a better shot, because this was an old camera and its mechanism to capture macros is not as well as the new ones.
I don't know the common name, much less the scientific one, if someone knows it, please share it. |
