[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at Gaira river mouth, that day the river was so flooded because of the rain. The name of this heron in here is "Garcita Blanca", its scientific name is Egretta Thula.

Their main features are: White color body, dark beak and legs, their feet are yellow and the area between the end of the beak and the ayes is yellow too.

They are accustomed to sleeping in colonies in the top of the trees. During the day, they live in places near salt or fresh water feeding on little fish and little animals such as frogs and insects.
