Lycaenidae from tropical America are rarely presented at TN.
You show here an extraordinary species with pretty good sharpness and from a nice point of view.
The characters of the species including wing pattern are well shown by your picture.

Thanks for this unusual posting. This reminds me of the same species I saw in Belize many years ago. You have captured the colours very well and presented a fine image of the butterfly. Now, if you could get a picture of the upperside, that would be truly spectacular. Thanks.
