nice colors, I would probably try to crop tighter on this to show mostly the bird, with just a bit of the setting
Maria , this is a nice photo, it's clear. Try not to have your subject in the very centre of the shot (i'm guilty of it too). Try to divide your photos into thirds (9 sections) and try to position your shot in this... Your camera should have an option to show you thirds through the viewfinder??
