blue-footed booby
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The blue-footed booby is perhaps the most famous Galápagos bird. Large active colonies on Seymour and Espanola are occupied throughout the year. This large, whitish-brown seabird really does have bright blue feet which it picks up in a slow, most dignified fashion when performing a courtship display. Bowing, wing spreading and sky pointing (with the neck, head, and bill stretched straight upwards) are also features of courtship. Watching this clownish behaviour is one of the highlights of any trip to the Galápagos. |

Very good capture showing typical behaviour of blue footed booby ! Blurred BG and good light makes this picture interesting , although a bit tight framed. TFS !

What a wonderful pose you managed to catch, Zeno. I love the posture of this booby. I wish the picture were not so tightly framed. Great shot. TFS. : )

Hi Zeno,
You have captured a special pose. It looks very interesting. I liked the well saturated colors. Well done and TFS

Zeno, this is a wonderful picture.
You managed to get a special pose of the booby.
Sharp, great colors and composition.
Only thing that bothers me is the tip of the wing that is out of the frame.
