| In the Charles Darwin centre on the Galapagos islands they have these giant land turtles. It is really incredible how big they are. Standing on their feet they reached more than a meter high! Before this picture was taken our guide had tried to made the turtle lift his, or her, head (so indeed just waking up - al those tourist around, why won't they let me sleep...) and after raising his head it looked a bit like ET. Then put its head down again, jawned and fell asleep. |
