ho visto la tua bella galleria di immagini di paesaggi e di fotografie naturalistiche dei tanti Paesi che hai visitato, come questa splendida tartaruga catturato con ottimi definizione e POV frontale, molto belli i colori e i riflessi di luce sul carapace.

Dear Monica,
You could have improved the image, if you had zoomed out a bit i.e. give more space around the animal, particularly on top...

For people, who have never seen an image of the giant tortoise, it is difficult to envisage from your photo the animal's size.

Concerning your notes - it would have been interesting to read, why they are now so rare i.e. the sailing ships took them on the ship as "fresh meat"
