a funny face :) an excellent pose.
an unusuel front POV, and an unusual choice of b/w, but very original and i like it.

Birzamanlar bir çizgi film vardı galiba orda bir karakter vardı adı da gamlı baykuş. Buna bakınca birden nu hatırladım. Bu da öyle gamlı gamlı, melül melül bakıyor. İlginç bir hayvan, çok güzel bir bakış açısı ve estetik bir fotoğraf. Tebrikler.

My first reaction was to laugh at the expression on this youngster's face. But, having said that, you have nice detail, a soft background which brings the eye directly to the subject. I think the pov adds to the humor, but so does the b/w. It's a terrific contrast and brings out his facial expression that much more! Good job.

Very nice B&W. Excellent contrast and POV(I have a masked booby portrait in Lens and I suppose they all look cross-eyed). Very well done with the light shades showing up well against the dark BG.

Hi Selen,
Although I like this image of this special cross eyed variant :) very much, I rather would like to have seen it in color because of the wonderful blue legs and feet they have.
Composition is excellent as always, but there seems to be to much contrast in the image because the top of the head, bill and back of the bird don't have much detail left.
Nice shot anyway.

I do miss seeing the beautiful blue feet but I suppose you had your reasons for going with B & W. You achieved a nice range of values and excellent sharpness. The expression is priceless.

You have succeeded in focusing attention on the gaze of this Blue-footed Booby very well by using B&W and avoiding attention on the blue feet. The pose is amusing and the composition very good.

Wow...look at those feet. The look on eyes and seemingly goofy smile it has made for a very good presentation.I am curious about your choice of B&W. One would think this is a colourful bird, especially the colour for the webbed feet.
But at least you did not lose any detail with the B&W. Thanks for the smile Selen.

Hi Selen

I had my share of missed photos lately on TN...but that will soon come to an end :) I have about one more week of working and after that a bit more until i come back home and re-joining my active participation here ;)

As i looked over your last postings, i've noticed this special one that drew my attention immediately.
Splendid capture and excellent idea with the B&W! The light and exposure are spot on and the pose of this "booby" - face to you - is terrific, showing those funny eyes so nicely.
