These immense sea turtle are quite common around the Galapagos Islands. We took a seat along the shore and waited quietly ...
Patience can be a virtue.

Hi Djozz,
I had a chance to swim together & holding them while snorkelling in Galapagos and it was great. They were afraid of humans as long as you were in groups, and they were incredibly fast in escaping too. But solo encounters were one of the most-to be remembered moments- in my life. Very nice portrait with good details. TFS

A wonderful POV for this capture.
The details are sharp and well focused.
Excellent composition,I like the ripples around the sea turtle's head.

Wow, Djozz, THAT is sharp!!!
I have never seen the teeth of a tortoise before.
An amazing shot.
Perfectly exposed.
Going to the Galapagos is my dream.
I hope I will get there one day.
