In the sanctuary AmaZOOnico in the jungle of Ecuador I saw this Long-haired Spider Monkey (Ateles belzebuth marginatus). The monkeys are free to go here. They can disappear in the jungle when they want it. But in the sanctuary is food!
Most of these monkeys were rescued from families who can't no longer take care of them. Or they were found in the jungle as an orphan. |

Hi Peter,
Nice shot...
Good sharpness.
Beautiful eyes; definitely 'not guilty'.
Well done

Excellent portrait of this Spider Monkey, Peter.
Perfect details and colours. The eyes in particular have been well captured with a nice expression in them.
Well done and take care.

So very cute, and awesome portrait of this spider monkey. So sharp and so natural. DOF is perfect. He looks as if he is in deep thought.
Hallo Peter,
mooi aandoenlijk plaatje, goede scherpte maar een beetje krap in beeld.
Groet Rob
