Hi Selen,
what a lovely little bird is your hummer,simply beautiful!The first thing I notice is the metallic emerald green colour and then the fineness of the details, the catch light in particular. Iso 8oo has worked well in this shot as there is no graininess that I can see,a very clean shot.Thanks for sharing this wee bird,it is a gem. Bob

Incredible shot Selen.
Pin-sharp with lots of intricate details in the feathers.
Beautiful colours on the little hummingbird.
DOF is slightly too shallow seeing as the beak tip is OOF however to achieve a deeper DOF you would've had to pick a higher aperture resulting in a slower shutter speed which would result in a blurred photo... but obviously knew that already! ;)
Great composition and pose.

Hi Selen,
so you are into Hummingbirds now, at 3500 m alt. ! And you got this impeccable, wonderful shot not with a flash and a feeder, but on the run, using daylight and even contre-jour. You are one hell of a photographer, Selen. My respect.

Hi Selen

Simply fantastic close-up! So many details and such sharpness are really imcredible! You really pulled it off!
I like this rather unconventional POV because i can see the nice little fingers of this cute humming bird - a feature that hardly ever stands out.
Even if the streight beak isn't is perfect focus, i still think this is one of the greatest shots of this bird, because of the impeccable textures of the bird's feathers.
The colors are also terrific and the exposure is very well controlled.
Magnificent work!

This is a beautiful capture Selen! I have tried many times to capture this kind of picture but I never had the right POV or lightning or timing :) I like this dominant emerald color a lot, action and details caught! This is well done with interesting notes. Those little ones are living so fast!

Lovely hummer capture Selen, I like the low-key exposure, and sharp detail I see throughout the birds body..Unique look with green on green :)

I took some time reading your intro and browsing through your fabulous gallery. You have one interesting and genuine approach to the intro - I was smiling by myself reading it.

Your capture of birds are all amazingly clear. The details are very well written in the picture. Well poised in that flying position and you have managed the clarity and depth of field brilliantly. I like your patience and details in your work as most of the pictures posted here are flawless.
