Nice shot! What a great looking bird. Don't see them out here in the desert.

Interesting looking bird. I did a quick workshop to make it look a little less washed out, I hope you like it. TFS!

Hello Guenther,
A warm welcome to TN.
The Galapagos... That is where I want to go next.
Great shot of this frigate bird. Great pose and sharp details.
Des did a nice workshop to bring out the colors a bit more.
Can't wait to see what other animals you saw there.
A note about your interesting subjects would be most appreciated.
TFS. : )
Dear Guenther,
This is an exceptionally good photo of the famous courtship behaviour of the Frigatte bird.
The Focus and depth of field are well controlled, the ridiculously looking sac well presented - and the blurred background emphasises the feathers sticking into the air - showing the effort the bird has to make to blow up and maintain his "attribute " of manhood to attract a female.
I like also the natural colours very much.
An interesting documentary well presented, which should have attracted more comments!
Have a nice afternoon
Kind regards
Ingrid
Hi Guenther
This is a really good shot of a bird I have never seen before. You have done a good job here and it would have been enhanced with some information about the subject. Maybe next time...
