[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The lava lizard is an endemic species to the Galapagos and has real no competition from other reptile species. I visited the Galapagos during the mating season--not only for lava lizards but for most animals on the islands--so these guys were very aggressive towards one another and spent much of their time atop rocks displaying to other males.

macro work is very good. colour is vivid. excellent!
