Scorpian on a Stick

Found this little guy under a rock. There isn't a whole lot of information about these guys on the web, but I do know that the scientific name is Hadruroides maculatus and that it is an endemic species to the Galapagos.
I wish I had used a smaller aperture to get the second pincher in focus, but the light was really low and I didn't have time to switch from my 200mm to a macro, so I was forced to shoot with a relatively fast shutter speed (1/250) so there wouldn't be too much camera shake.

Hi Wes.
I like this but think it's a little too small for the frame, obviously not you're fault as time was not on your side! Nice BG but as you pointed out that far pincer isn't sharp. I think if it was cropped a little it would improve it over all. I've done a workshop for you to compare.
Regards
Simon
We didn't see scorpion often on TN.
Nice shot with excellent colors and details on the insect.
