We saw these guys in Belize and costa rica too. Funny how they only seelm to occur near roads! Wonder what they did before humans came along.

The Roadsite hawk is common in forest and river edge. Why don't they call it River edge hawk:-)
Beautiful bird and you photographed it very well. For instance an excellent depth of field.

bu güzel fotoğrafı sabah gördüm ama vakit darlığından yazamamıştım. elinize sağlık son derece güzel bir çekim olmuş. türü ilk görünce renkleri ve özellikle deseniyle daha çok atmacalara benzettim ama güzel notunuzdan bir şahin türü olduğu anlaşılıyor. ingilizler, latince adına bakmaksızın farklı düşünmüşler ki ilk dediğim gibi bir ad koymuşlar.

I really like the focus and this pose.
The unobstructed view is perfect.
I took it in my PC and tried a vertical crop, which can also look nice.But i do like seeing the light circles...whatever they are called.... not bokeh?
