[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The condor,the emblematic bird of Peru,the greatest predatory bird,which could attain up to 3 meters of wing span.Using the warm ascendant air stream,it could reach up to 5500m. For the Incas,the condor was the messenger from the spirits of the mountain.
Here,we are at the Cruz del Condor,the ideal observatory for seeing the condors rise up in the morning,before going towards the sea where they will feed on the dead fishes on the beach.we must have seen 50 different condors in the course of the first hour.

Hi Charles, very nice shot of this large bird. Your presentation is very good, enhanced by your crop. Your depth of field using f6.3 is very effective, showing us subtly the mountains beneath and behind the bird. The light on the bird itself is good giving us decent detail in the birds flight.
