[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The road from Arequipa to Chivay is a good one, rising smoothly from 2300 m to 4500 m. Llamas, vicuna, and alpacas do quite well at these altitudes, whereas mortals fare less well. This is the altiplano...a dry, cold and austere habitat. A nice place to visit but you wouldn't want to live here! This herd of llamas calls it home.

Hello Michael,

Very nice landscape. I like these three layers: the first close to us with the altiplano and the llamas, the second with the mountains and the third with the cloudy sky. Well done.

Amazing landscape picture with attractive animals which is included into the scenery so naturally. Excellent exposure, light and natural colours. DOF is superb as well as the sharpness of the entire image. My best wishes and kind regards.
