| On the way from Chivay to Condor Pass along the Colca River Valley there is a village by the name of Maca. Its most famous inhabitant is this black-chested buzzard-eagle (Geranoaetus melanoleucus), who, for a couple of soles, will spread its wings and look menacing. |
