[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the Reserva Amazonas near Puerto Maldonado my daughter and I took a walk in the jungle one night (with a guide, of course!) where we met up with all sorts of critters one doesn't often spot in broad daylight...like this mantid, (katydid?) (8 cm long) who had just shed its old carapace. It's spring in Peru and time for a new change of clothes.

Excellent capture of a Katylid eating what looks like another.
Technically of high standard with good sharpness and use of flash taken at night.
