[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this little guy perched on a ledge in the ruins at Machu Picchu. At first I thought it was a big rabbit because of its long ears. Then it turned sideways and I saw its long bushy tail and thought it was a big squirrel. Turns out it's a mountain viscacha (Lagidium viscaccia), a member of the chinchilla family, who lives high in the Andes.
Its fur isn't of the high quality of a chinchilla's, but it's been hunted mercilessly nevertheless.

Hi Michael.
I like your very cute character. Despite its camouflage the animal is reflected perfectly. Your POV and its pose are sweet as well as the framing and composition. I like the reproduction of the BG too. All in all wonderful picture. Bravo and TFS.
Alexei.
