| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Misti volcano towers over the "white pearl of the Andes" (Arequipa - the second largest city in Peru, and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful in S. America) which is already at 2300 m. Misti rises to 5825 m. According to my 2007 French guide book, Misti's summit is "permanently covered in snow." Well, here's tangible proof that global warming is rapidly changing things! Not a snowflake in sight, and no photoshop manipulation! Most unfortunately, it's time to update the guidebooks! |

Hello Michael! For the first look I thought the mountain would look great by itself, but I tried to workshop and it just doesn't look good without the fg, it turned out it's the best like this. Very nice work and interesting note! TFS
