From our camp, the morning sun illuminates the spectacle of these 3 lords: Siula Grande (6344 m), Yerupaja (6617 m) and Yerupaja Chico (6089 m) which are reflected in Laguna Carhuacocha (4138 m). The couple (from my previous photo) lives on the opposite side, in the valley on the left.

Hello Stephan,
Definitely a well composed image and a spectacular view.
I particularly like the water reflection.
The sunlight was probably quite harsh at that specific moment and it's difficult to get details in those dark mountain shadows as well as in the highlights of these snowcapped mountains.

Bonjour Stephan, une superbe vue de ce coin du Pérou, jolie composition et excellente technique. Bravo! Il faudrait surveiller tout de même l'exposition, les hautes lumières sont un peu cramées et les parties sombres sont noires. Mais je sais que ce n'est pas facile! :-) Bon travail!

This is so stunning; it actually takes my breath away. The whole atmosphere captured in this scene is one of serenity and peacefulness. The Creation is just so beautiful and this image proofs it all. There are just plenty of various aspects of nature to appreciate and admire in this one image. This is truly a wonderful landscape to look at. Thanks for sharing such a lovely view.
