[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The whimbrel is a winter migrant in Peru. It is a pretty shy bird compared to other beach dwelling species. This one certainly was suspicious of me as it took to flight and landed 100 m further along a pristine beach in the Paracas national park.
