A beautiful butterfly in Brownsberg naturepark, Surinam. I don't know which specie it is. I tried to look it up in internet but the closest I got was Hermeuptychia sosybius (the carolina satyr). This must be a family specie. Does anyone know if there is any site on the internet with tropical butterfly species and pictures so I can look them up. Hope you can help me.

I would rather like to see this with trimming off some unneccessary parts allowing closer look to the bfly.

this might be Magneuptychia libye or a relative. It is not Hermeuptychia.
