Hyla minuta - Lesser tree frog

I took this picture in The brownsberg naturepark where a did research for four months. Once in a while we walked a nighttrail. With a flashlight it was easy to spot some animals. In the tropical forest there is a lot of noise in the nights. This is mainly produced by tree frogs and whistling frogs. This little frog made such a loud noise that we first did not believe that he was the one the produced it, but it was true. He is sitting on a branch that is floating in the water of a creek. On the top of the branch you can see little eggs of the frog which he is watching over.
There is not much known about the specie. I tries to look some detials up on the internet, but couldn't find any. Anyway hope you like it!!

A wonderful shot of this unusual frog. His coloring is interesting. The pose is fantastic, and the cluster of eggs on the branch really adds to the picture. Sharp details and good light. Well done and TFS. : )
