[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Rufous Hornero is one of the Ovenbirds and is from the same family as the Woodcreepers. It looks a bit like a thrush but is very plain with a dirty white supercilium and a rather long, slightly curved bill.

It is very common in open country in the southern half of South America east of the Andes.

They are often seen on the ground collecting mud or dung to build their remarkable nests.
These nests are built in prominent positions in trees or on any suitable man-made object such as telephone or electricity posts.

This particular one is a wine connoisseur and build its nest near the vine yard as you can see in the workshop.

Hi Sky,
Very well captured rufous hornero in action.
Nice lighting and surrounding.
Great work.

Oh! This is so interesting Sky! First, I like this movement you captured, this bird looks funny :) Then, it is nice to see how they built their nests with mud and where they build it. This is quite unusual to me as I have never seen such behavior here. Thanks,
Claudine

Hello Sky,
A cute little fellow, I like his marching style!
Well done on focus, fine details in the bird...
Not the most colourful fellow but still quite attractive!
Greetings,

hi Sky,
très intéressante image, il semble faire un pas militaire cet oiseau :)
Le cadrage est très bon, il manque juste un peu de netteté.

Hi Sky,
This shot, clearly, is not induced by the stimulus provided by wine :-)!
You have used your lens very effectively here. The focus is spot on and the shutter speed catches the bir mid step.
TFS and take care.

Hi Sky, well captured, a good action shot.

TFS Anders.

Hi Sky, quite an amusing and remarkable shot you have here. Love the pose of the little guy, looks as if the little bird is marching...1 2 3 4:) Excellant detail, good compo, POV and true to life colors. TFS! Lyndon

Hello Sky,
Very nice capture of this bird that is obviously in the military or maybe a marching band, good color and nice details, Sky it seems you spent a great deal of time at the vineyard ;).
Rick

Hello Sky,
Look like this little one is proudly marching for you. Well captured and presentation. Also like your workshop. First time to see bird nest build with mud. TFS.

Hi Sky

Another lovely catch from you and again a charming composition!
I realyl like the timing here (watching the bird step) and the lovely pose you've captures.
The colors of its plumage really help isolate it from the environment and the DOF is very good.

Bravo and TFS
Horia
