[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Humming birds are most visible as they dash about the garden. It was a bit of a shock to me when I found this little fellow, no more then three inches long, perched in a tree and singing! At first I did not connect the bird song I heard and this little fellow, but then it hit me. Every time he opened his beak, I heard a bird song. The song by itself I would never have associated with the humming bird. But there you have it, learn something new everyday. So how many times have we all heard a bird songs from a little humming bird hidden in a tree or bush and never realized exactly what we were hearing?

Hi Dean,
Read your intro...you have an interesting job (slightly more than running computer projects!)Nice to see another having a go at these bird images.A more unusual pose and angle capturing from below.Good to have had the patience to capture its profile.Maybe a touch unclear but with good natural colour.
Regards, David
