To some this picture maybe offensive, to those my apologies. However, I feel it important to live up the purpose of TN to show a balanced view of nature.
The local name is Jarra, this 1.3 meter (4 1/2/ foot) snake is venomous and lives in the hardwood forests that line the small streams here in Uruguay. It normally hunts warm blooded small mammals like mice at night. Therefore, it was bit surprising to see it dinning on a frog at midday. |

Didn't saw it was a frog at first sight..
Were you searching for snake and was it pure coïncidence?
