Excelente captura en acción estimado amigo con gran manejo de la cámara y principalmente de la compensación de blancos que brindan detalles del plumaje blanco tan difícil de retratar.
Una agradable composición a partir del punto de vista captado y el encuadre que elegiste, con el tronco asomando por el vértice de la escena y aprovechando el imponente cielo azul de fondo.

Another splendid shot from you and your great little S3 :p
I guess your patience payed off eventually and you managed to catch this amazing take-off!
These white egrets are indeed lovely and gracefull bird, so this is a charming capture!
The details here are very nice and the contrast between the white birds and that splendid blue sky is terrific!
I also like the intersting shape of the branch (tree) they are (were) sitting one...looks like Neptune's trident :))
Lovely colors, good exposure and wonderful composition.

Hi Jose,
Great in-flight capture! Good lighting and sharpness (even for a continuous mode shot).
The divergent branches of the tree seem to have "launched" the flying egret in the air (there's also some "smoke" in the lower left corner :D ) and this adds a burst of energy to the whole composition.

Oh hooooo..truely a 100+ points picture. What a capture!! and that too with a S3 IS. S2 or S# IS have problems of focusing and its very diificult to capture flying bird. You have achived a nice action shot here. The focus is perfect.Excellant shape of its neck. I like the feathers on wing border which are lightened coz of sunlight. White colors looks so preity on blue background. Excellant capture.

this is a good action photo of these birds,showing good colour and focus,the details are not as fine as your normal shots but it is not always easy getting detail in white subjects such as these birds.I have yet to see these birds for real and sometimes they are found here in Canada.Thanks for sharing these two.
