[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a continuation from my experience in the nature working on a old trunk. This is another parasite that I found on the trunk. I am sure this in not a fungus, but it is a parasite that is found frequently on power lines, trees etc., it is something like the Florida moos. I would appreciate if somebody helps me to identify it. Thanks

No idea Rolf, I cant remember coming across this one before. The clustered shape is quite unique.
I would not discard lichens, it is what comes to my mind at first sight, and there are a lot of species growing on wood. I had a fast look to my favourite lichen links, but nothing really convincing.

Una muy clara foto de este parásito!
En los árboles cercanos a mi casa hay muchos, sobre todo a mis bonsais se los tengo que estar quitando a cada rato, pues si me descuido la rama donde se fijan se va secando.
Estaré pendiente a ver si se consigue el ID exacto.
