[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,

Has started the breeding season and Pitirres change their temperament, spends hours "discussing" flying near power cables. Since early morning, up and down the evening, the males defend their territory and females. There is little room for silence while these small birds settle their differences.
I took advantage of the circumstances to do some "exercises" to catch these birds in flight.

These birds are quite common and I already have a post of them before. Why not mount note of this species.

What if I can say is that, using an ISO 200 (I normally use 80 or 100 for outdoor shots) I could put the shutter speed to 1 / 1600 and use an aperture of f/5.6, the zoom is 10x This combination allowed me to improve the capture of birds in flight. (either that matter is reviewed for many members, but to me it is continuous learning, and I hope that some members with compact cameras, they can see the post and that this detail will be helpful)

My greetings to all,

Jesús

Hola,

Hi Jesus, a wonderful action shot of these dancing beauties. Great in-flight shot. According to me you can increase the ISO sensirivity up to 800 for obtaining more effective freezing effect.
TFS this fine in-flight shot under weak light conditions.
Have agreat new week MF!
Cheers,

bayram

Hello Jesus,
You did well on this capture. 1/1600 almost froze the wings of what must be a very quick bird. This behavior goes on all around us, but we must stop and observe if we are to see it. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Greg

Hola Jesus
