Mannophryne SP:

Definitely not this picture shows the structure of the species, but I wanted to post it because I felt funny!.

These frogs tend to live in the stream and the mountain streams throughout most of our country. I understand that there are several species with minor differences between them. Frogs are very lively, with a tendency to hide and jump to the passage of people nearby. But when they're taking a shower, such as the frog in the photo, usually more calm and be photographed.

Scientific classification:

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Amphibia
Order: Anura
Family: (proposed)Aromobatidae
Genus: Mannophryne

Mannophryne is a genus of frogs native to South America. This genus was created in 1992, split from the former Colostethus trinitatis species group.

Mannophryne has been placed in the Dendrobatidae family, but a new study proposes moving it to the Aromobatidae family.

Mannophryne contains fifteen species, twelve of which used to be classified in the Colostethus genus, while the remaining three are newly described.

Hi Jesus
This is a great shot, the shallow DOF and POV work really well. I think it shows that you should always try and look at things from every angle!
Kind Regards
Vinny

Hi Jesus,

Now this is different and very well done. The frog's eye is beautiful. Very artistic and I found I had to study it for a while. I don't know if I'm seeing what I'm supposed to see but it seems the frog is popping out of the water. If I'm wrong, that's okay, because I like the picture.
