Hola amigo Jesús,
Although I'm not able to help in ID specification, I must tell this image is a real stunner. Seems like everything was in focus... :) Great sharpness indeed. Colors are also OK, maybe a very little dose of contrast should have been added, but this is just a personal taste, the pic's wonderful this way, too. There's a little background noise here and there, but a classical shot otherwise. Bravo.
Gracias, un saludo, László

I don't know it's name but it's a splendid butterfly. Good colours and DOF. Well done Jesus.

Roberto

Hello Jesus,
I don't have any idea about the ID, but this is a fantastic photo. Your country has so many treasures. I saw them when I was there (specially the birds). But I don't have good photos of your splendid nature. For me the most beautiful country of South America. This is one of the treasures. Great photo in very beautiful colours and excellent sharp details. Very good composition.
Regards,
Peter

Hola Jesus,
this is really a fine picture of this relatively small Nymphalidae species.
I think that Sergio (flashpoint) is right with respect to the species identification.
However, this should be the nominate subspecies and not ssp. lelex.
Best wishes, Peter

Hola Jesús,
This is a technically superb macro of this small Nymphalid butterfly and the composition makes a nice portrait.
This fresh specimen is shown with excellent sharpness anc colours while resting with the wings open.

abraço;

Taba
