Beautiful close photo of this mantis. The only ugly animal I know is a Marabou, however......

eccezionale davvero questo scatto che hai saputo presentare egregiamente incorniciando in modo perfetto questa bellissima mantide. Messa a fuoco perfetta sulla testa con un leggero sfocato sul resto del corpo che da quel tocco in più alla foto in cui colori e dettagli sono perfetti. Ottimo lavoro.

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder! I have always found them interesting but never ugly. I've always seen them in their classic pose - never in a great one like this. The face and eyes are outstanding. Great colors, details,and composition.
