Maraquita Butterfly on a banana leaf . This butterfly is named in Venezuela Maraquita (small maraca) because of the sound of their flight. I took this picture in Pinar Park in Caracas.

Well composed, very good light, saturation of colour looks spot on and nicely presented. :-)

composition is loose for my taste,
the upper damage part of the leave should have been avoided here,

Hello Mauricio,
I remember this species (Hamadryas ferentina) when I was in Trinidad some years ago and remember the crackeling sound it made when it flew. On Trinidad it is therefore called the Grey Cracker. This is a sharp and well composed capture with fine BG.
TFS and refreshing my memories with this nice shot.
